by Zdenka D'Souza

WELCOME

I am a freelance translator facilitating communication between Czech, Turkish and English

My work combines terminological precision (legal and technical contexts) with cultural sensitivity and feel for the language and tone (website localisation, subtitles or literary texts).

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a translation take?

A single page will be delivered within 1-2 days depending on the complexity. Sometimes, urgent translation might be available. The fastest way, is to check with me on WhatsApp, as this is something I do alongside my primary job.

Are my documents confidential?

Absolutely. Neither do I share my assignments verbally, nor do I store documents in CAT tools.

Instead I prefer a more traditional approach - keeping personal notes of key terms to ensure consistency in my translations.

What platforms are used for video interpretations?

In short, anything that makes customer comfortable. Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp or any similar platform.

Have a project in mind? I'd be happy to hear about it.
